Seeing beyond the visible.
Architecture taught me to understand space.
Photography taught me to understand emotion.
Nima Chaichi
My journey began as an architect, spending sixteen years designing physical environments before pursuing a new way of seeing through photography. That path eventually led me to New York, where I earned a master's degree in Fashion Photography from the School of Visual Arts on a Presidential Full Scholarship.
Over time, I became more interested in the invisible architecture of memory, atmosphere, and human experience. Photography became the medium through which those ideas could be explored.
Today, my practice brings together architecture, cinema, music, and visual storytelling. As a published and award-winning photographer, Art Director, and educator, I collaborate with brands, create portraits, teach visual storytelling, and produce limited-edition fine art prints.
Whether working with individuals, brands, or students, the goal remains the same: to create images that linger between reality and memory.
Based in New York. Available for commissions, collaborations, workshops, and speaking engagements worldwide.
